But on an up-note, we can always learn from this Einstein…
Hoop Catapult Failure - Watch more Free Videos
This video comes from Break.com, and what I love about it the most is that it almost works; that’s right, if he wouldn’t have shifted his weight backwards at five seconds into this video it would have become a great success and not fell-- on his face-- and to the Bottom of the Bin as an awesome failure.
With this video it’s hard to give out the “I didn’t see that the first time I watched it” Award because there are so many little nuggets of gold speckled throughout. But I think the most worthy thing is that it looks like the kid is trying to make his way to the top of a church. Compare to this picture:
Notice the same sort of low roof structure of a small community church.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t think a basketball-hoop catapult is the best way to get to heaven. And breaking church property doesn’t help much either.
An honorable mention goes to the guy (most easily seen at :22), to the left of the hoop, who looks like he is holding some type of green padding. Too bad he didn’t put it on the gutter of the building before lift-off.
It’s also great to note that it takes six guys to get this kid off the ground.
Overall, I love this video because there are eight people seen in the video, plus the camera man, and not one of them figured the hoop wasn’t prepared for the G-forces that kid’s butt was creating.
Until next time, here are some more great Basketball failures:
This post made my day. I would much rather watch a semi large group of people fail together at something that clearly is not a good idea than watch people succeed. Creative idea, I really do like it. Bravo, wouldn't expect anything less of you.
ReplyDeletegreat videos. everyone loves watching idiotic people hurt themselves.
